Carrd startete 2016 als Side Project. Ich wollte die einfachstmögliche Art schaffen, Einseiter-Websites zu erstellen.

Nach Jahren des Aufbaus komplexer Web-Tools wollte ich zu den Basics zurück. Eine Seite. Einfach. Schnell. Die Idee war, es so einfach zu machen, dass jeder eine professionell aussehende Landing Page in Minuten erstellen könnte.

Launch und Wachstum

Ich startete auf Product Hunt und bekam eine großartige Reaktion. Das Freemium-Modell funktionierte gut – kostenlos für grundlegende Websites, $19/Jahr für Pro-Features. Wachstum war organisch durch Mund-zu-Mund-Propaganda und Twitter.
