Founder stories
Founder interview reports over $6,000 MRR from app plus web about four months after starting. Later public sources report higher monthly revenue and user counts, so this entry uses the founder-interview figure rather than reconciling conflicting later directory/profile snapshots.

Outils utilisés pour construire Feynman AI
Alex Nguyen built Feynman AI after seeing an international student struggle to follow lectures abroad. A one-month web MVP, fast user feedback, TikTok-style social distribution and App Store search took the solo education app to over $6K MRR in four months.
Alex Nguyen did not begin Feynman AI with a broad education platform plan. The spark was much more specific. A friend studying abroad had a good IELTS score but still struggled to follow native-English lectures in real time. Recording the lectures helped, but reviewing long audio later was slow. Alex saw a workflow problem: students did not need another blank note app, they needed the lecture transformed into usable study material.
He built the first web version in about a month. The early product focused on a small loop: record or upload learning material, then generate notes, quizzes and flashcards. That was enough to launch and start learning from real users. When users asked for PDF imports and mind maps, Alex added those next instead of guessing at a giant roadmap. The product became stronger because the workflow expanded around actual study behavior.
The first paying customer arrived 20 days after launch. By the January 2025 founder interview, Feynman AI had about 30,000 users, 200 paid customers, and more than $6,000 MRR across app and web. The growth pattern was consumer-app practical rather than enterprise-SaaS slow: ship a useful mobile workflow, improve App Store search fit, show outcomes on social media, and let student use cases explain the product faster than a feature list could.
Later public profiles described much larger reach, including hundreds of thousands of users and higher monthly revenue, but the conservative lesson is already clear from the first four months. Feynman AI worked because it compressed a frustrating multi-step study job into one mobile habit: capture the messy lecture or PDF, then walk away with structured notes, active-recall prompts and visual memory aids.
The founder lesson is to package the outcome, not the model. Students were not buying an AI wrapper for its own sake. They were paying to turn confusing learning material into reviewable assets quickly, especially when language, speed or workload made manual notes unreliable.
A narrow real-world learning pain can be a stronger starting point than a broad education-platform thesis
Consumer AI products need a complete workflow, not just access to a model
Fast user-requested additions can sharpen the product faster than a long private roadmap
App Store search and social proof can compound when the product outcome is visually easy to demonstrate
