Elston attributes Tiiny Host's success, relative to his earlier products, to deliberately capping build time and redirecting the rest of his time toward learning marketing instead of continuing to build.

His later advice on Reddit marketing matches what he actually did at launch: pick the right sub and be upfront about being the builder rather than pitching.

He searched out and joined the Facebook groups where people actively look for lifetime deals, rather than posting the offer only on his own site.

Buyers in lifetime-deal groups are naturally wary of scam offers; he credits fast, active replies to questions in-group with converting skeptics into buyers.
