Founder stories
Store locator app for Shopify and e-commerce stores.
How Tyler acquired customers
Tools used to build Storemapper
I built Storemapper while traveling as a digital nomad. It started as a simple store locator widget and grew into a stable micro-SaaS business.
In 2012, I was freelancing and traveling. I noticed many Shopify stores needed store locators, so I built a simple embeddable widget.
I focused heavily on SEO - writing guides, targeting long-tail keywords about store locators. This brought in steady, qualified traffic.
Storemapper grew to $20K MRR with minimal maintenance. I eventually sold it to focus on other projects (Earnest Capital).
