After selling his previous company Heyo, Nathan Latka started a podcast interviewing SaaS founders and entrepreneurs. After thousands of interviews, he compiled an Excel file of data directly from founders.
Nathan had something no one else had: real revenue numbers, growth metrics, and strategies straight from the founders themselves. This data sat in spreadsheets.
He turned this spreadsheet MVP into Getlatka, a database of SaaS company data. The product gave investors, founders, and researchers access to verified SaaS metrics.
Within 100 days, the business reached $20,000 per month in revenue. The key was "founder market fit" - getting Nathan front-and-center through books, magazines, and even billboards.
Getlatka grew to $150K MRR without a team, becoming one of the largest databases of SaaS founder data in the world.
